CE marking

The CE mark documents that the product in question meets the requirements of one or more directives in accordance with the EC concepts within whose scope it falls (simple pressure vessels, safety of toys, construction products, electrical equipment, etc.). If a product in question bears the CE mark, it may be sold without restriction in any EC country.

The following applies to Norres Baggerman hoses:

  1. The products are neither machines nor safety components as defined by the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. They are also not products according to the Low Voltage and EMC Directives, the Medical Devices Directive, etc.
  2. Products that do not fall under any of the EC directives listed above must not be labelled with the CE mark. Consequently, we are also not allowed to provide a declaration of conformity (= manufacturer's declaration).
  3. Hoses that fall under the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU may be affected by the CE marking. However, this must be checked for each individual application, as it depends on the operating conditions.

Since the operating conditions at the user's premises are beyond our control and the design variety is too large, no guarantee can be given for the correctness of the information.

UKCA marking

After the ‘Brexit’, the CE marking is no longer valid for Great Britain since 2023. The British ‘UKCA’ (and ‘UKNI’ for Northern Ireland) are the corresponding followers of the CE marking.
