RoHS Directives –
Compliance of Norres Baggerman Products

EU Directive 2015/863/EU (RoHS 3) on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment replaced the previous RoHS Directive on 22/07/2019. As a manufacturer of technical hoses and flexible hose system solutions, our products fall within the scope of this directive only if they are used by the customer as components in electrical and electronic equipment.

Within the framework of the RoHS Directive, the European Parliament has established limit values for the following substances (maximum concentration by weight in homogeneous materials):

• Lead (Pb) 0,1% 
• Mercury (Hg) 0,1% 
• Cadmium (Cd) 0,01% 
• Hexavalent chromium (Cr+6) 0,1% 
• Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) 0,1% 
• Polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) 0,1% 
• Bis(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP) 0,1% 
• Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP) 0,1% 
• Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) 0,1% 
• Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) 0,1% 

We hereby confirm that, in the products mentioned, none of the substances listed above is intentionally used by Norres Baggerman as a formulation component or processing aid in concentrations above the permitted limit values. Furthermore, at the time this document was prepared, we were not aware of any raw material used in the manufacture of the products mentioned that contains these substances in concentrations above the permitted limit values.
