Installation guidelines for hoses
Requirements based on DIN 20066 and the guidelines of BG Chemie (Information Sheet T 002)
In order to ensure functionality and to prevent the service life of hose assemblies from being shortened by additional stresses, the following installation guidelines must be observed.
If external mechanical stresses, such as frequent dragging across the floor, cannot be avoided, highly abrasion-resistant polyurethane hoses or CP hoses with an external steel clamping profile should be used.

Always connect hose assemblies free of torsion. If a flow direction arrow is present on the hose, the hose should be installed in accordance with the direction of the arrow.
Avoid excessive bending stress. To do this, use rollers or hose saddles with a diameter corresponding to the permissible bending radius.
Install hose assemblies as a 180° bend with sufficiently long neutral hose ends. The installation distance must be determined according to the required bending radius.
Avoid impermissible bends immediately behind the connection fittings. Observe the minimum bending radius.
The direction of movement and the hose axis should lie in the same plane in order to avoid harmful torsional loads.
Install hose assemblies in such a way that they do not touch the floor, walls or other objects.
